Every piece is designed to be worn, loved, and then passed on to other families. We’re redefining fashion for families—where style, sustainability, and sentiment come together in every stitch.

Syne Studio was created as a reply and protest to the fashion industry. Starting with sourcing discarded kimonos directly from Japan, the design duo lovingly restores vintage kimonos, reviving pieces of tradition passed down through generations. This translates into a brand that seeks to enhance the latent potential of existing materials from multiple industries, bridging the gap between sustainability and fashion.

The Fashion Pulpit

The Fashion Pulpit is a social enterprise and circular fashion hub aiming to advance sustainable thinking and practices through four pillars: swapping, upcycling, thrifting, and broadening narratives with education. In the past 5 years, the brand has collected over 350,000 fashion items (clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories) and served over 6000 swap members. Clothes-swapping fills a gap in the fashion industry’s road to decarbonization.

The Fashion Pulpit promotes better clothing consumption by contributing to the road to -1.5°C. Their expertise in expanding and extending clothing lifespan dovetails with Singapore’s sustainable development strategies and the urgent need for reinterpretation and re-imagination to keep clothing in circulation longer.
