Fashion revolution Singapore April 2019
I oversaw the collaboration between Fashion Revolution Singapore and Raffles Design school. As such I managed our team of students who created the posters for Fashion Revolution Singapore’s official Fashion Revolution Week event in 2019. In addition to the posters (top left), my students created the social media content promoting the event on Instagram and Facebook. They also created 3 installations drawing attention to the issue of sustainability in the fashion industry - creating an original game of Fashion Sustainability Snap and Snakes & Ladders. Both games creatively explained fashion’s impact on the planet including child labour in SE Asia, low wages and garment waste (top middle) .
Finally, students created an art installation highlighting the amount of water used in the fashion industry and an installation showing the impact of fashion waste. (top right)
FASHION REVOLUTION SINGAPORE Fashion Show
Students helped organize an alternative runway show with the Fashion Revolution Singapore team. From organizing the catwalk show production to styling the garments, hair & makeup and creating posters used in the show. They also coordinated models, show volunteers and ushering visitors whilst managing the registration desk.
Fashion E-commerce Talk At We Work Beach Road
Students elected to organize a talk on the topic of Fashion E-commerce in collaboration with WeWork Beach Road on the 08 June 2018. Speakers invited to share their knowledge included:

Students organized the event by creating the itinerary, inviting guests, procuring F&B, designing event collaterals including logo, poster and E-ticket. Inviting guests to the event, managing the event on the day and thanking speakers with personalized gifts. One student even got to realize her dream to become an MC on the day to much success.
Fashion Show
As part of their degree, my students elected to create a fashion show concept. I facilitated the event execution - which covered everything from developing the concept to creating marketing collaterals, to sourcing models, venue, music, makeup, entertainment and F&B. Their goal was to sell show tickets and cover their costs an execute the event successfully whilst showcasing the collection of Fashion Design Students from Raffles College of Higher Education Singapore.
Guiding a great group of student to create a fashion show with meaning has been one of the highlights of my time teaching this module. The students created a concept honoring the late David Bowie, inspired by his music the event concept and branding creatively utilized his Ziggy Stardust motif. The show finale had an important message allowing the audience to participate in the show and interact with the models.
